Norwell Public Library

Norwell Public Library wanted to redesign their web site to be inline with a newly developed branding specification. Also they wanted to be able to edit their web site themselves in an easier way than they had been doing on their old web site. Using their branding specifications we came up with a design and created a better organized that is easier to edit and maintain. See the web site.

Hingham Public Library

Hingham Public Library's previous web site was included within the Town of Hingham site structure. The library felt cramped in this configuration and decided to create their own web site. They still wanted to remain similar in design to the Town of Hingham Web Site so certain conventions of the town's web site was incorporated. The library web site features: news, quicklinks, links to thier online catalog, museum pass sign up, mailings lists that users can subscribe to (VIP), a unique children's section and many online services. Paul Pratt Memorial Library - Cohasset Massachusetts

I worked with Cohasset Library to redesign their web site. The site features direct links to their online catalog, events calendar and news. The web site includes many photographs that bring the library to life on the web site. They are able to easily update their web site themselves. To see the web site:

Milton Public Library

I worked with Milton Public Library to redesign their web site. Site features library catalog search on every page, web site search, detailed plans of library expansion, and research links. Web site is updatable by the library itself. View web site.

Abington Public Library

I worked with Abington Library to create thier web site. Web site features library information and links to ocln catalog. Abington Public Library updates this web site on their own. View web site.

Sharon Public Library

Worked with Sharon Public Library to create their own web site. Includes "online library", library events calendar and news, and site wide search. Library web site is completely maintained by Sharon Library staff. View web site.

Scituate Town Library

I worked with the Scituate Town Library staff to create their page, choose and register their domain name, and select a web hosting solution that met their needs now and in the future.

We worked together to identify best practices in existing library pages. We also identified content areas that they wanted on their page and ordered them via functional task (what a user of the site would be trying to do vs. what made sense to the librarians). We also tried to use language that non-library science professionals would understand (the typical site visitor.)
