Spascape Day Spa a seaside full service destination day spa in Scituate Harbor, Massachusetts. I worked with the spa owner to create a web site that described the spa, their services and what spa goers could expect from their visit. The site integrated an onsite appointment management system which has a web front end to take appointments over the Internet. See the web site.

Carbide Technology sells quality brake lathe parts and accessories. They wanted to add an e-commerce web site store to their marketing effort to help capture more customers and ease the ordering process. Derby Street Wine & Spirits

Located in the Hingham Derby Street Shoppes they are a specialty wine and spirits shop. They had a do-it-yourself web site but wanted to upgrade it's look to feature photos of the retails space, inside and out. Also includes a specials area to seasonal specials and events to coordinate them with other marketing efforts. Has a form which collects customer info to be used for mailings to it's wine club. Atlantic Information Systems, Inc. an IT project management consulting, training, and contract/permanent employee placement company located in Pembroke MA was looking to upgrade their web site. They wanted it to be more attractive, better organized, and more useful to market their services and training seminar/webinars and to advertise job openings to project management professionals who were looking for contract or permanent positions. They also wanted to be able to easily update the web site. The world famous Cask 'n Flagon sports bar located in the shade of Fenway Park's Green Monster on Brookline Ave in Boston wanted to have a web presence that showed the character and history that the Restaurant/Sports bar enjoys in the Fenway Park neighborhood. The web site features baseball sounds, photos and flash animation to show off it's menu, awards, historic baseball photos and fun atmosphere. Hill-Top Candy Kitchen has been making hand made Salt Water Taffy, Ribbon Candy and Old Fashioned Puff candy since 1946. Selling to candy distributors and not to the public they felt they needed a web site to be able to refer current and potential future customers for pricing and candy flavor and packaging options. OAL wanted to use a web presence to introduce prospective organizations to their services and their unique model of doing business. Dennis had an older web site that he could not edit. It did not feature his projects and from his experience with initial meetings with prospective clients, this is the thing that they wanted to see the most. Dennis worked with me, and graphic designer, Nisse Designs to develop this web site. It has a flash home page, information about his process, phylosophy and a project photos area which features residential, commercial and projects that are in progress. Visit the web site.

CoCard Systems is a business that provides various payment services for their clients. They found that they were losing business opportunities because they did not have an Internet presence. Some of their potential clients searched the web and did not find them. I worked with them to develop a web site that explained their wide array of services. They also created a staff area which is password protected and contains helpful documents for their sales staff. Site will be launched soon.

Colburn & Guyette Consulting Partners, Inc. are food service consultants who work with architects and clients to plan and build large food service facilities (e.g. corporate, educational, or security cafeterias, restaurants and food courts). Colburn & Guyette wanted to have a web site that they could use to reinforce their marketing and keep clients up to date on their current projects. They were interested in having a way to update the web site by themselves to quickly and easily add changing news, add pictures and describe projects. Mat wanted to produce a web site that promoted his public speaking, advertising consulting and freelance cartoon or caricature services. Mat designed the web site and created all the art work. The Human Resource Department of Sun Life wanted to implement executive skill assessments on the Internet. This would ease the burden on their internal resources (collecting and processing data) and simplify the process of completing the assessments for the participants. This project is ongoing and allows for the customization of the assessments for individual executives.

Because they were a start up, they wanted an inexpensive web site that would get them started but they also wanted a framework that could grow. Mars Records is a new and used CD and record retailer specializing in collectable punk records. The owner wanted to use the web to increase his "store front". He had tried in the past but was frustrated by the level of complexity that he encountered. He wanted bold graphics and also a way that he could easily maintain a listing of his inventory on the Internet. He also wanted an easy way to take and fill orders.

I worked with this client to produce the graphic punch that he was looking for but to also make the site easy to read and navigate.
